DONATE

Your monetary donations are used to purchase food or to help defray operating costs.

Some food is obtained from the 2nd Harvest Food Bank. Other foods, especially meat, are purchased in bulk through grocery stores to provide much needed items not available through the Food Bank.

We make good use of donated recyclable bags, we still need to purchase a large amount of very costly paper, ziplock and plastic bags.

We pay two phone bills a month: one for regular and one for the FAX line, a necessity to receive the Food Connection lists six times daily.

We give layettes to new mothers who are referred to us by Public Health Nurses, WIC and Walk-ins.  When available, we offer formula, cereal, baby food, diapers, blankets and clothing, etc. to those who qualify.

We are responsible for the repair/maintenance of the buildings and business equipment along with office supplies, printing cost, postage, etc.

As time goes by, the Pantry's 'Homeless' clients list continues to grow, especially when the City routes out the 'Homeless Camps'. In our efforts to help these people, we have been including a hygiene kit with their food bag. See below a list of donation items needed for Homeless Foodbag (need items in travel size.)

Thank you!
