ABOUT US
Who Do We Feed
Clients are referred to us by nurses, teachers, ministers, etc., and the Second Harvest Food Bank's Food Connection Department. We handle regular and emergency requests as well as those of the homeless. Our Homeless Closet contains homeless-friendly foods such as pull-top canned goods and packaged items that do not need to be refrigerated or cooked on a stove.
When We Are Available
The Pantry is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9:00 am - 3:00 pm; Wednesday 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm
We serve clients from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Our volunteers frequently work from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. stocking and bagging plus various additional hours to keep the Pantry running efficiently.
We are responsible for the repair and maintenance of the buildings, business machines and equipment including our freezers and refrigerators. Additionally, our volunteers keep the food and packaging areas spotlessly clean to meet County requirements. Other Expenses....office supplies, printing costs, postage, etc.
